What is the meaning of CACP and full form ?

The CACP is an organization that is supported by the Ministry of Agriculture and the Government of India. It has 4 core members that make important decision regarding prices of crops. Out of these 4 members 2 are members of the farming community and are directly involved in the trade and profession of agriculture. The main aim of the CACP is the regulate minimum process of 23 main commercial crops that are sold in the country. Besides setting minimum prices for these crops in the open market, the commission also advices on new farming technologies and decides about crop shortfalls and imports if crops if necessary in times of drought.
