The dorsal acetabular region of the anatomy is a ball and socket joint on both sides of the pelvis.This socket is round shaped bone structure that the ball of the femur fits into and is allowed to rotate in a circular fashion.The DAR is view that can be seen in an x – ray of this portion and is useful in diagnosing bone diseases like osteoporosis.
