Yes, in fact i would stretch it to its almost a must. After the initial shower of warm water, shampoo will not only get rid of small dried over left grit, but will also give a nice fragrance to the hair, as henna has a strong peculiar smell that most people do not like. Question 4 – Can u put another color on your henna hair?
After a few weeks if you want to experiment with another hair highlight color, you definitely can. Two things to keep in mind before that – 1.Make sure the henna that was put was pure organic so that it wont cause any conflict with another dye in future and so that your follicle wont bear the brunt of it. 2. check to see by experimenting on a small strand first , as to the end result color of the new dye on a henna colored strand.Sometimes when the henna color and another are pasted one on another, the resultant color is not quite what is desired, just like mixing two paints.
