What is the meaning of IPOP and full form ?

In normal language,and interrupt is a short break or delay from a current sequence of events.In computers also an interrupt to the processor is a delay caused either by the hardware or software.Until the issue is resolved by the processor,which is very fast,the interrupt will briefly slow down or hang the computer.
