Part of NASAs lunar missions,the orbiter was a capsule that was blasted off by a rocket system and after reaching orbit would perform experiments and test onboard flight systems.The OAO3 was used for all avionics equipment,including stabilizers,blasters, correctional firing thrusters and flight controllers.
