In mathematics,the square root of a number is the inverse of its squared.The square of a number is the number multiplied by itself  – 3 squared is 3 times 3 which is nine, five squared is five multiplied by 5 which is 25.On the other hand,square root is the inverse of this. 25 square root is 5,144 square root is 12.
