AIEEE COACHING CLASSES – Some useful information about AIEEE coaching classes
ABOUT THE TEST
ELIGIBILITY
1.Candidates from OBC,GE and DS should have been born on or after October 1st, 1986
2.Candidates from SC,ST,PD should have been born on or after October 1st,1981.
3.Have to have cleared the QE in the previous year prior to give the JEE
4.A 10+2 qualifying exam/or its equivalent from any State or Central Examination Board.
REGISTRATION
AIEEE Application brochure can be bought from zonal Branch of Syndicate Bank in the month of January every year.It costs 500 for general category and 275 for SC/ST.Make the DD for application in favour of The Secretary,CSBSE,payable at Delhi/New Delhi along with a self addressed A4 size envelope.
You have to then fill in the application and send it along with a DD of Rs.300 (General,OBS) or Rs.150(SC/ST)by speed post/registered mail to :

After this you will receive the Admit card in the mail
You can also enroll online at http://www.aieee.nic.in/ and pay by credit card
FORMAT
Similar to IIT-JEE.This also has a format of two papers.
The first paper containing Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics.
The second paper has Mathematics,Aptitude and Drawing.
Since AIEEE is for both Engineering admission as well as Architecture,Paper 1 is for engineering aspirants,and Paper 2 is for architecture aspirants.You may reapply and give the AIEEE test for a total of 3 consective years at a strech,no more.
SCORING
Both papers have objective type questions,in paper 1 there is equal weightage to all 3 subjects
