NEET MDS 2024 Postponed update

The date of the NEET MDS 2024 exam has not yet been changed. But as the exam date draws nearer, there is a growing desire to delay the NEET MDS. The candidates have reapplied to the Supreme Court to change the exam date.
The date of the National Eligibility and Entrance Test for Masters of Dental Surgery, or NEET MDS 2024, is set for March 18, 2024.

As the exam date draws near, candidates for the NEET-MDS have once more petitioned the Supreme Court, claiming that the government has not yet made an announcement regarding the delay of the exam.

The exam was originally supposed to take place on February 5, but the NBE opted to postpone. Those aspiring to NEET MDS are still calling for a July 2024 deadline for NEET MDS.

On February 21, the Supreme Court heard the case and declined to determine the actual deadline. The judges argued that the government should make the decision on this matter. According to CJI Chandrachud, they will resolve the situation because it is extremely difficult for them to keep extending the deadlines. The petitioners claimed that after a week of hearing the students’ representations, the Union Government had not responded with a definitive ruling.
