How good is the Reliance Tablet?
How good is the Reliance Tablet? – Released about 2 months ago into a galaxy tab dominated market, does the Chinese made, ZTE branded and Reliance distributed tablet stand up to its competitors? On the lower end are very reasonably priced Chinese tablets all in the range of 5000.
On the higher side are the Galaxy tab,Olive tab and the Ipad2.Reliance has subtly snugged its way into the middle of things by pricing at 13000.Firstly,the only better feature that the Reliance
Tablet has compared to the cheap Chinese tablets is that its got a slightly
higher RAM and android 2.3.So why charge 8000 more for that? Its clear that
since its been third party manufactured, the margin is slim. But for 13000 it’s
a bit too much. The idea of introducing this tablet in the first place was to
promote and propagate its 3G data services, which bundled with the price of the tablet shoots up the price to 17,000 for the cheapest data plan of 1GB.Consumers who can afford this price bracket, will rather opt for the Galaxy tab, which is miles away in terms of functionality and performance.
