Ongc scholarship for students professional courses – ONGC scholarship offers 100 scholarships to SC/ST meritorious students,pursuing higher professional courses.The three main branches for which it is given is Engineering,Geology and MBA.The entire process of filling up the form in the correct format is given below and should be followed exactly in that manner.
Eligibility for ongc scholarship
1.candidate eligible for the ongc scholarship should be a student of 1st year graduate engineering course or 1st year of masters degree in geology/geophysics/MBA and should be pursuing full time course at any IIT/university/institute recognized by the govt of india.
2.candidate should have obtained minimum 60% marks in 12th class for engineering discipline and in graduation for PG. Courses as applicable or overall grade point average (OGPA) of minimum 6.0 in 10 points scale of grading system.
3.annual income of parents from all sources should not be more than 1.5 lac per annum (12,500) per month.
How to apply for Ongc scholarship for students
The candidate fulfilling the above criteria may submit thier typed application alongiwth 2 recent passport sized photographs (one affixed on application).Copies of marksheet of 12th or graduation as applicable,caste and income certificates should beenclosed.The caste and income certificates must be issued from the competant district Revneue Authorities not below the rank of Tehsildar.Translated copies of income and caste certificates are required i nthe case the issued certificate is not in hindi or English.All certificates should be duly attested by the head of the institution.The application for ONGC scholarship should be in the following format in order to sequence:
Completed applications in above format and certified by head of institution to be sent to the Manager (HR) I/C SC/ST Cell,Room no 206,2nd floor,old secretariat building,ONGC,Tel Bhavan,Dehradun – 248003 (Uttrakhand) so as to reach latest by 10/1/2012.Incomplete and late application shall be rejected and no communication in this regard will be entertained

hi santosh scholarship is open to students in engineering and geo sciences as these are related to ongc operations,i dont think pharmacy is related to oil and natural gas drilling
