Staff Selection commission quantity surveying exam – for Junior engineers (civil,mechanical,electrical,quantity surveying and contract) examination.This post will show the details of the examination like number of posts to apply for opening closing dates to receive the forms and the examination details.

1.Examination for all india open examination in Central Public Works Department (CPWD) and department of posts junior engineers for:

.civil,electrical and mechanical,quantity surveying and contract in military engineering service (MES),Civil and mechanical in central water comission (CWC) and Farakka barrage,for which degree or diploma in civil or electrical or mechanical engineering from an institution recognised by govt inst. minimum.the examination will comprise a written examination followed by an interview.

2.Fees are rs.100.Exempted for all women candidates andSC/ST/PH/Ex servicemen

3.Closing date is 10.2.2012 upto 5pm.

4.Apply online 14.1.2012 to 10.2.2012 for part 2 registration; and upto 8.2.2012 for part 1

1.CPWD-192 junior engineers(civil) & 186 for junior engineers(electrical)

2.CWC-82 for junior engineers(civil) & 23 for junior engineers(mech)

3.MES-155 for junior engineers(civil) & 91 for junior engineers (electrical/Mech) 13for JE(quantity surveying and contracts)

Age limit for Staff Selection commission quantity surveying exam

1.18-27 yrs for junior engg(civil,elec) in CPWD and dept of posts

2.Max 30 years for junior engg(civil) and junior engineer(elec/mech) in MES

3.Max 32 years for junior  engg(Civil/mech) in CWC and Farrakka Barrage

4.18-27 years for junior engineers (quantity surveying and contract) in MES

Rs.9300-34,800 + grade pay Rs.4200
