VITEEE 2018 – Vellore VIT University Engineering Entrance Exam – One of the best engineering colleges in India is conducting the entrance test for courses in Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Technology.The entrance exam will be held in April and results declared in the month of month of April itself after 3 weeks of the exam date.Vellore Institute of Technology has 4 campuses all over India and there are thousands of seats that need to be filled by this exam.The applicant will need to give a computer based objective test.

VITEEE 2018 Application Form Issue begins from 09th November 2017

Last Date for submitting the application form: 15th Mach 2018

VITEEE 2018 will be conducted on 04th to 15th April 2018

VITEEE 2018 Eligibility and Admissions

1.The applicant for admission should be a Resident/Non-Resident Indian National

2.Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 01st July 1996 are eligible to apply for VITEEE-2018

3.Candidates appearing for the VITEEE in 2018 should have secured an aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying examination (+2/Intermediate)

4.The average marks obtained in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology (PCM / PCB) in +2 (or its equivalent) put together should be 50% for the SC/ST & North Eastern State

5.Candidates who have studied in Regular, Full Time and Formal Education are alone eligible to apply

6.’NIOS’ candidates are eligible to appear for the VITEEE-2018

7.Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 01st July 1996 are eligible to apply for VITEEE-2018; the date of birth as recorded in the High School/SSC/X Certificate will be considered authentic.Candidates should produce this certificate in original as a proof of their age at the time of counselling, failing for which they will be disqualified

The admission will be given on the basis of the candidate’s performance in VITEEE 2018. If any of the candidates has not given or applied for VITEEE then he/she will not be eligible for getting admission into VIT University. This examination is must to be given
Candidates who have given good performance in the written examination, they will be called for personal interview and counselling sessions

How to apply online for VITEEE 2018 

Interested and Eligible candidates can apply through online as well as offline mode. In case you are applying online, you need to go through the official website of Vellore Institute of Technology i.e. www.vit.ac.in

Cost of the Application: Rs.1150/- (inclusive of GST). Get ready with the following to submit the online form:

step 1. Softcopy (scanned copy) of recently taken passport size colour photograph with 10kb – 200kb (Dimensions – 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm) / Softcopy (scanned copy) of Signature of the Candidate with 10kb – 200kb (Dimensions – 3.5 cm x 1.5 cm) in JPG / JPEG format. Selfie photos will not be accepted. Also scanned copy of Aadhar Card/proof of enrolment ID for Aadhar Card is to be submitted.

step 2.Online mode(Net banking / Debit card / Credit card) – Do not send the hardcopy of the application form after the process of completion

istep 3. DD/NEFT Mode – It is mandatory for NRI candidates to send the hardcopy of the application form along with the NEFT Transfer copy / Demand Draft of 50 USD (write your name and application no. on the reverse side of DD) after the process of completion

VITEEE 2018 Exam Pattern

VIT Engineering Entrance Examination is Computer Based Test (CBT)
The duration of the entrance examination will be 02.30 hours (3 sessions per days)

Number of Questions:

1.PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) – 120 questions (Each 40 questions) & English 5 questions = Total 125 questions
2.PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) – 120 questions (Each 40 questions) & English 5 questions = Total 125 questions
3.No Negative marks for wrong answers
4.Question Paper Language: The questions paper will be online in English
5.Candidate appearing in PCM is eligible for all the 18 B.Tech Engineering Programmes
6.Candidates appearing in PCB is eligible for only 3 B.Tech Bio-stream Engineering Programmes Refer (Information Brochure)
