NEET 2019 New Rules and Dress Code, For Male & Female – In the past few years this has been part of the new rules and regulations,where a strict dress code has to be adhered to in order to gain entry into the exam hall.The NEET 2019 that is to be held once a year in the month of May 5th date and  have become very strict because to make sure that the students do not conceal chits or communication equipment.Also there will be a mandatory frisking by security personnel and it should be easy for them to search the students,that is why this dress code has been implemented.

NEET 2019 New Rules and Dress Code, For Male & Female

The general dress rules are stated as follows –

  1. IF the student wants to wear a traditional or custom dress then they need to come to the venue at eight thirty am.
  2. Candidates cannot wear shoes with heels ad need to only wear slippers or sandals
  3. Candidates can only wear light pastel shades with short sleeves and cannot have any sort of decorative accessories like a brooch,pendants etc and no big buttons.

NEET 2019 Dress Code for males and females

 

For Male Candidates – 

For male students,only light colored short sleeve tops are permitted and bottom can be pants or jeans.Kurta payjama is not permitted and for footwear you cannot wear shoes,but only slippers or simple sandals.

For Female Candidates –

Light clothes with half sleeves not having big buttons, brooch/badge, flower etc. with Salwar/ Trouser, Slippers, sandals with low heels are allowed. Shoes for the female candidate are also not allowed.

List of Items that are  Allowed /Not Allowed in Exam Hall:

Remember that there is no provision by the exam center to allow you to keep any perosnal belongings with them and neither will they take responsibility for the same.IF by mistake you have worn any of the following barred items then make sure to give it to your parent/companion who has come with you to the venue BEFORE entering the security.

There will be frisking as well as metal detection by the guards to check for any of these barred items and if you are found in possession of any opf these items then it will considered as a case of using unfair means.

  • Salwar Khameez
  • Kurti top – half sleeves
  • Doctor prescribed spectacles
  • Kada and Kirpan
  • Trousers
  • Half Tshirt / Shirt
  • Slippers and Sandals

 

Not allowed

  • Big buttons
  • Hairclip and rubber bands
  • Saree -Married or unmarried
  • Watches/rings/china/necklace/sun glasses/bracelet
  • Cap
  • Kurta Pyjama
  • Shoes
  • Any stationery item like textual material (printed or written), bits of papers, Geometry/Pencil Box, Plastic Pouch, Calculator, Pen, Scale, Writing Pad, Pen Drives, Eraser, Calculator, Log Table, Electronic Pen/Scanner etc.
  • Any communication device like Mobile Phone, Bluetooth, Earphones, Microphone, Pager, Health Band etc.
  • Other items like Wallet, Goggles, Handbags, Belt, Cap etc.
  • Badge and Brooch etc.
  • Any metallic item.
  • Any eatable item opened or packed, water bottle etc.
  • Any other item which could be used for unfairmeans, for hiding communication devices like camera, Bluetooth device etc.
