The central public sector undertaking companies are those in which the central government owns more than 50%.This holding could also be also stock worth more than 50% of the total market capitalization. Some of the biggest CPSUs are Air India and its subsidiaries, Bengal chemicals and fertilizers etc. Employees that work in the CPSUs are working for the central government directly.
