Also known as Bavarian Motor works for english speakers.It was created in Bavaria that is the largest state in Southern Germany.Something else you didn’t know – Bavaria in German is known as Bayern – like Bayern Munich the football team.

As far as luxury cars go,BMW is second only to Mercedes and clocks annual revenues of $25 billion.More than a status symbol BMWs are also sporty and better looking than most dull Mercedes cars.

The BMW logo has a blue and white rotor blade.This is an ode to its origins.BMW started off not as a car maker but a factory that manufactured airplane parts over 100 years ago.With the auto industry taking off,they ventured into auto production and have never looked back.
