What does CTI mean or stand for ?

Computer Telephone Integrated is a method of using the computer to make telephone calls using the signals in the phone line to transfer data.It was widely used in the 90s as a method of Voip – Voice over IP for telephony and fax transmissions.Several programs mimicked the Facsimile machine when connected to a printer and was much cheaper to use as compared to traditional fax machines.
