What does D.MISS mean or stand for ?

D.MISS is a theological or religious degree that is awarded to people associated with  a religious institution or church.Laymen cannot apply for this course.Only priests and ministers attached to a church who have done a Masters degree are eligible for this doctorate program.

In many ways it is the same as any other doctorate or P.Hd degree and requires the submission of a well researched thesis.
