What does GADO mean or stand for ?

General Aviation District Office is a small branch office of the FAA and is present in remote areas of the country.These offices are mostly used by Charter aircraft in order to get licenses,certificates and other documentation.Also some GADOs offer maintenance and repair work for small aircraft and act as a station.
