What does GIGO mean or stand for ?

Garbage In Garbage Out is a type of computer language slang phrase first used in the era of IBM PCs.What it actually means is the output received from a computer is directly proportional to the input it receives.In other words,the information that is fed into the computer by the user will give a computed output based on those input values.So if we feed data that is error and bug ridden,then we will get a program that gives us wrong values.
