What does GM2 mean or stand for ?

Bitmap graphics (mode 2 black/white) is a filename extension that was used in old computer video games.This type of file needed to be executed in order for the game to play.It often had primitive graphics unlike today’s technology and some of the games that employed this file type were “Heroes of might and magic.”This type of file was known as an “auto-logic file” and was capable of self execution.
