Undergraduate:(3 years)

B.A. Tamil, Urdu, English, Historical Studies, Economics, Public Administration, Vaishnavism, Christian Studies*, Criminology and Police Administration); B.Lit (Tamil Literature); B.Music (Music); B.Com(Commerce, Co-operation, Bank Management, Corporate Secretaryship, Computer Applications); BBA(Business Administration); BCA (Computer Applications); B.Sc (Mathematics, Psychology, Geography, Medical Sociology*); B,Nat (Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences*)

Application and prospectus are available in the single window admission counter, university of Madras, Tholkappiar Valaham, Chepauk, Chennai on all days (Saturday/Sundays also) except national holidays

Prospectus can be downloaded from the university website and the filled-in application of the same may be sent along with the demand draft/bank challan (SBI or Indian bank, any branch in India) payable at Chennai

All demand drafts/challans to be drawn in favour of the director, institute of distance education, university of Madras, Chennai

Application and prospectus are also available in the study centres and participatory programme centres of the IDE, University of Madras

Certificate courses

One year courses: Certificate in Sanskrit, French, German, Computer Applications, E-Commerce, Naturopathy and Yogic Science (English medium)

Six month courses: Certificate in Spoken Tamil, Written Tamil, Medicinal Plants, Plant Cell and Tissue Culture, Phytochemical Techniques (English medium), Police Administration (English and Tamil medium)

Three month course: Certificate in Library and Information Science (English and Tamil medium)

Students undergoing a degree course of study can also do any one of the certificate courses simultaneously excepting German, French and Sanskri
