What is the meaning of BRTS ?

The bus rapid system is built on the similar concept of the rail metro lines. The governments of many countries wanted to emulate the efficiency, comfort, cost effectiveness and other salient features  of the metro and hence have started to implement this system. The idea was to create a system that allowed mass transport of people in large cities swiftly from one point to another.
