CBSE discontinued subjects from 2019 syllabus course onward – According to the new CBSE circular of March 9 ,2018 there are major changes in the new course of CBSE for 10th and 12th board exams as a big subject English Communicative or Grammar has been scrapped and removed from the syllabus of 2019 onward. Note that this is only for new students who haven’t selected the course subjects yet, those students that are already studying it in class 9 and 11th can give the board exams in it.

Changed and Renamed subjects for class 9 (for 10th boards)
Sanskrit communicative code number 122 is RENAMED as Sanskrit and syllabus and other course details are same for it only the name is changed.
Foundations of Information Technology code number 165 is RENAMED as Computer Applications,syllabus and course remains same.
Merged Subjects for class 11 (for 12th Boards)
