What does FFAR mean or stand for ?
The FFAR is a rocket that is still used to this day in military aircraft for the use of intercepting and targeting enemy planes.Its nose it attached with explosive warhead that can make it lethal in combat.It has an advantage of small and light size and can be fitted on most combat aircraft.
The reason it is called as folding fin is because it may have between 4 to 8 fins that are used to guide and propagate its trajectory in the air.It is used for air to air as well as air to surface missile firing.
