The ITDA was setup so that tribal communities in rural areas and hilly regions can have access to basic infrastructure and basic necessities.This agency was instrumental in providing jobs with the hope that the scheduled tribes can be uplifted into society with the help of jobs and the opportunity to earn a median wage.
