Mizoram is comprised of an indigenous population of the Mizo tribe who in todays terms lead a comfortable lifestyle, love arts & culture, music and are very happy go lucky.This does not take the fact away from them that they are also very educationally inclined. The older generations depended on handicrafts, agro produce and cottage industries to grow their economy, however the new young generation wants to be well educated and as a result there are two universities in the state.
Career, Courses and Universities in Mizoram
One is a central university of Aizwal in the capital city and the other is a private commercial institution. Both these reputed universities have a large variety of different courses starting from Arts, sciences, commerce, management, finance, economics to technical studies and computer technology.The new generation is particularly inclined to medical sciences, engineering, law and architecture.
There are also some short term courses that deal with career or vocational oriented studies like crafts, cooking, handiman’s course, agro forestry etc.These can directly benefit student who wish to start working as soon as possible.
