What is the meaning of WRIM and full form ?

A wound induction motor is the same as a slip ring motor as it uses slips rings in order to be externally wound to the resistance. By adjusting the current through the resistance, voltage can be altered thus directly adjusting the speed of rotation of the motor.It maybe a three phase motor and also employs the use of brushes in its design.
