Best of Performance Unipune

Best of Performance Unipune – The university of Pune has a special rule for students who have a backlog of one subject or because of which they are getting a year down. This is most unfortunate and unfair and because of this, the best of performance rule has come into effect for students to avoid this ATKT and get an all clear in that semester.

Best of Performance Unipune

This rule is applicable for students left with one head of passing in a single semester and there are two important ways by which you can take advantage of this rule.

Best of Performance Unipune

1.If you have got an ATKT in the same subject for more than 2 consecutive exams, you need to appear for the same exam for a third time and fill up the form for best of performance. Now,out of these three attempts,if you have scored more than 30 marks in any of the attempts, you will be passed in that subject, provided this is the only ATKT in the year, and the other subjects are all clear.

2.If you have failed in one head of passing in the year and you are short of a few marks in your final yearly total to goto the next semester, you can apply for best of performance. In this case,it is similar to getting condoned. You will be given a maximum of 10 marks,by which you can clear the individual subject as well the the year total and proceed to the next semester.

How to apply for best of performance?

In University of Pune,in order to apply for BOP,you need to submit the application form in the examination cell within 45 days of the result of the exam with a fee of approx Rs.100.Along with this you need to have also the marksheet that is attested by the concerned authority.

Limitations of Best of Performance

This privilege cannot be used in the fresh attempt of any exam.In that case, the condonation rule will apply. In best of performance, you need to have attempted at least one fresh exam and one ATKT exam after that.

Also the fresh and ATKT exam have to be consecutive and you have to be physically present for the exam and get  a score, you cannot abstain from giving the exam,or it will not be counted.
