What does FLY mean or stand for ?
FLY is a term that has been used in garment and fabric manufacturing since it was invented.Its main purpose was to camouflage the buttons and zipper on trousers so that the metal of the zipper would not be exposed.
In many instances,even the zipper or the buttons on some jeans are called as the FLY,though technically that is not what it was intended to be called.
